Welcome to South Riding! A planned community constructed in 1995 with a population of about 25,000(as of 2010). Our vision here at South Riding is to be the most desired and well respected place to live and raise a family in Northern Virginia.
We strive to achieve this goal by coming together as a community, new & old, to promote health, safety, welfare and the interest of all residents. To promote natural beauty and community spirit, there are numerous outstanding events to take part of throughout every month. Events range from carnivals and fairs, marathons and fund-raisers, to wine tasting and adult comedy shows. Here at South Riding we have something for all residents.
When buying a home in South Riding you are automatically granted a membership to the South Riding Association, which is not severable until the property is sold. With this Membership you are granted exclusive access to the many great amenities here at South Riding. These amenities include: Basketball, Volleyball, Bocce and tennis courts, 4 outdoor swimming pools, both for seniors and children. A fishing pier for all the fishing hobbyist and beginners. A full fitness gym with fitness classes throughout the day. Playgrounds for our younger residents and even a dog park for our canines.
